So excited to be welcoming back Makan Malaysia for a night of pairing beers with their yummy food! Two courses of amazing Malaysian food perfectly paired with two hand selected beers. Cannot wait!!
Just before the first lockdown our Malaysian Food Pop Up was cancelled so it feels like a rightful victory to be bringing these ladies and their incredible food back to the Hanwell Massive!!
Your Tasting Menu for the night includes -
Main - Prawn or Vegan Laksa paired with a Verdant Vienna Lager. The beer’s creamy body with a hint of sweetness is going to go so well with all the chilli and aromatic spices in the laksa.
Dessert - A trio of pandan and coconut kuih. Don’t know what kuih is well then step right up to be delighted by these joyous little, chewy slabs of delight! Although quite a delicate flavour with a really full and glutinous mouthfeel of course I wouldn’t miss an opportunity to pair these desserts with a glorious, creamy, luxurious stout!
There will be 2 sittings available 5.45pm 7.45pm and also 8pm - 10pm. Tickets are £25 and include your 2 courses plus your two beers (half a bottle / approx 165ml) and all the tasting notes from your food and beer hosts for the evening!
